This is a six week class focused on building strength and flexibility as well as cardiovascular health and muscular endurance to support recreational running, walking, and hiking. Each week will include dynamic stretches, time dedicated to running and/or walking, strengthening exercises, and static stretches. We will be running and/or walking laps in a park, so no one will be left behind. This class is especially for people who are new to running, have taken a long break from running, and/or are concerned about the stress that running can place on joints. We will meet in West Philly at Clark Park. This cost of this six week class is $60 with a $40-80 sliding scale to increase accessibility.
